Actually I wanted Steak, roasted baby boils, mushrooms, green beans and pepper sauce but looked in the fridge and my steak is out of date So it'll be chicken instead.

how much out of date Ellis as the others have said if it looks and smells ok then eat it - I am to believe the darker beef/steak goes the better it is
just bagged some discounted from Morrisons so steak it is for us tonight
They hang the steak for 21 days to get a good flavour, what's an extra couple of days?!

Steak is better out of date ............the older the better - trust me. I buy it and keep it for ages deliberately - well beyond sell by..

We've just had reduced price (sell by date of today) salmon with reduced price risotto and salad. The risotto was a bargain - ÂĢ2.99 marked down to .99p. It was also two for ÂĢ5, so they took .98p off at the till, so I got two packs for ÂĢ1

I went to the dentist yesterday and has the 'floss more often' nag
It was out of date on the 3rd...which was when I bought it so I was quite silly to not have read the label. I always think steak smells a bit funny no matter what.
