Shall I start a "hello I'm new thread"?

Or maybe an "i'm not new just changed me avi" thread

EC must have started one, he changes his avi more often than I have hot meals

I can't argue with that assessment, I am going to change again (made a new on last night)

Quick update from me, we got to uncles at anout7am sat morn and got changed etc. we all met at funeral home to see her and the priest came and said prayers where I found out they were putting my moms ashes in the coffin.... Then to the church and the service was beautiful, entities my mom a but too.... Then grave, then on for meal etc. was a long emotinal day considering I hadn't been to sleep sconce Thursday night! Back at my dads in brum now about to sleep and then 2 more trains home tomorrow.... Yay!

Welcome home Jen ................what a weekend eh? Funerals are a funny old business - incredibly sad obviously but I find something almost therapeutic (with some) - re establishing family links etc. Must have been upsetting for you re your mums ashes if you didn't know that was going to happen. I hope you find it comforting though - I think it's lovely.

In another note YIPPEEEEEEEEEEE - I finally lost the pound and a half I gained the week before last!

Welcome back Jen, and I hope the weekend wasn't too draining for you (despite the travelling).  But I agree with Soozy, once the service is over and everyone gets together, I find funerals nice, in the fact that people get together for one common reason, their love for the deceased and they end up all telling wonderful little stories some may not know, and we tend to learn a little bit more about that person (but always nice things).

Soozy congrats on the last bit off.
