Tumble dryer taking AGES on synthetics cycle - threw caution to the winds - bunged it on cottons cycle for an hour and a half - now have nice fluffy, DRY, crease free clothes.

I have a Dutch bike. A couple of years ago I lost part of the chain guard and it cost me deep in the purse to replace it after I had retraced my steps/cycle route. I have just found it in the middle of the road. :?:

It was just one of those things, I put one foot out and didn't notice the black ice so when I put my weight on it to get out it just went. Thankfully I didn't fall right over just kind of pulled my hip a bit.
But you're right I have been particularly accident prone over the last few weeks. In fact, not just falling down, but I am down to just one glass pan lid left. (Two died just this week). R.I.P pan lids 
(even more annoying is I just bought all new pans when I redid the kitchen last August)

(in an endearing not mocking way) it confused me for a long time until one of aunties from Ireland called my daughter chicken last year when she was visiting. Weird how that stuck in my sub conscious mind all those years (i haven't lived in Ireland since i was 6)

Forgot to come by yesterday and let you know how my eldest got on in his transfer test....he got a B2 I am a very proud Mum! Now he can apply for the college he liked and fingers crossed he gets in! It'll be a long wait now til May til we find out though.
