But no-one wants a final with Greggs, Judys, and Scotts. ..... Or maybe they do if it were for Comic Relief.

No, but there have been contestants, like the Countryfile presenter ...whose name escapes me ...and Chris Hollins ...who were true novices , but who turned out to be good dancers

Can't disagree with that, but generally speaking I really couldn't care less as long as they haven't done much ballroom/latin before. They all know when they enter that'll be the case, I think that the voters take it into account and it makes for a better, more watchable show imo...Having said that I just read that Caroline won BBC3's Dancing on Wheels and represented GB in the European Wheelchair Dancing Championships, that does sound like a big advantage

HUH, there was a show about wheelchair dancing??

I can't see that being any advantage to anyone.

I assumed it was this type of dancing, but didn't watch it so may be incorrect?....Anyhow, as I said, I couldn't care less really, as long as it makes for an enjoyable show
