Anita v Jay in the playoffs is my predilection.

They'll save Jay because he is the blue-eyed boy, despite the fact that Anita's improved by leaps and bounds whilst Jay's stayed static!

Anita will never be good enough to match Jay.  And, she's not so much a dancer as a presenter of a dance.  Big difference.

It's not (or shouldn't be) about matching each other. It should be about how each individual is now compared to THEIR OWN starting position.

Tell that to the producers.  That said, maintaining a better standard than your competitors has to count too.  Anita's not improving; Jay's maintaining his standard.
