Still not great. He thinks he's only got a 50% or less chance of seeing home again and telling me I should be semi-prepared for the worst!

Yes, his family all live nearby and my sisters are only a phone call away.

He phoned a wee while ago and amongst other things, said he was probably just being a bit pessimistic and that I shouldn't worry!

Oh.......and checked that I'd done the Tesco grocery order!
