Of course it is - he has at least the same advantage as Denise.

Gymnastics isn't dancing though - not the same at all IMO.

Denise's dancing isn't the same as ballroom - he has fitness, toned body, control of his movements, flexibility - probably more than a dancer even.

Gymnastics and dancing are two very different disciplines, so I don't think Louis has a particular advantage over the others.

Denise's dance training does give her an advantage over the others.

IMO, of course.

Seriously Yogi.. I think he has the basic tools to start with, as does Denise, and Kimberley for that matter.

Up to now I tend to agree with you.

Perhaps his personality's hidden in a prop box somewhere?

Along with Kimberley's.

Again, I tend to agree but I suppose we should be glad they can dance.... if they were like Widdy (no dance, no personality) I'd be crying into my kebab leftovers

The floor routine in gymnastics is dancing.

No - the womens is set to music (still not dancing) - the mens is simply gymnastics - no music at all - not related to dance. Yes he's fit but so are a lot of other sports personalities on there.

Denise starred in Chicago - lot of Latin moves in that show - she will have had a lot of training for that wouldn't she?

Gymnastics is a sport, so Louis has no greater advantage than any other sportsman who takes part.

Denise has had a lot of dance training, which gives her a definite advantage.

Simples!

Im only kidding about Louis,  but Denise's stage dancing really is nothing like having a partner to dance with in ballroom, they are very different types of dance.

Anyway, how do we know which of the other dancers does alot of dancing in clubs on their nights off or who practiced dancing in their lives, you just never know who has an unfair advantage.

Fosse's moves aren't latin per se though - I still think that Louis' poise and grace stand him in good stead for learning dance moves.
