Strictly Come Dancing: James Jordan says judges need less air time!

Strictly Come Dancing 2012 professional dancer James Jordan has claimed that the show’s judges need less air time.

Speaking to the Daily Star Sunday this week, James suggested that show bosses should focus more on the dancers and less time on the judgesâ€Ķ in particular Bruno!

“At the moment the judges are a massive part of the show but it should be less about them,” he said. “It should be more about the couples and their talent than the judges trying to make funny comments.

“On Strictly, the celebs are the big draw – people watch the show to see their idols. They’re the reason people watch.

“And the professional dancers are the ones working seven days, so the focus should be on us rather than the judges.”

James, who was paired with Denise Van Outen on last night’s launch show, also confessed he couldn’t understand Bruno Tonioli.

He said: “He’s obviously very animated, which is good for TV. But I don’t really understand what he says.”

Meanwhile judge Craig Revel Horwood warned last night: “Denise and James – I hope, actually, that Denise can calm James’ mouth down this seriesâ€Ķ ”

Strictly Come Dancing 2012 kicks off its live shows on October 5.
