Strictly Come Dancing: James Jordan says judges need less air time!
Strictly Come Dancing 2012 professional dancer James Jordan has claimed that the showâs judges need less air time.
Speaking to the Daily Star Sunday this week, James suggested that show bosses should focus more on the dancers and less time on the judgesâĶ in particular Bruno!
âAt the moment the judges are a massive part of the show but it should be less about them,â he said. âIt should be more about the couples and their talent than the judges trying to make funny comments.
âOn Strictly, the celebs are the big draw â people watch the show to see their idols. Theyâre the reason people watch.
âAnd the professional dancers are the ones working seven days, so the focus should be on us rather than the judges.â
James, who was paired with Denise Van Outen on last nightâs launch show, also confessed he couldnât understand Bruno Tonioli.
He said: âHeâs obviously very animated, which is good for TV. But I donât really understand what he says.â
Meanwhile judge Craig Revel Horwood warned last night: âDenise and James â I hope, actually, that Denise can calm Jamesâ mouth down this seriesâĶ â
Strictly Come Dancing 2012 kicks off its live shows on October 5.
