I hope he gets ballroom too, Xochi.  It'll be lovely to see him do some 'serious' dancing even though it may be his last dance.  We all know he's on borrowed time now, but he deserves some dignity on exit.

Just caught up on three weeks of Strictly. I've been OK with the people voted off so far except week 8. Mark should have gone (despite Fiona's mistake). CRH got it right, he's not a dancer and just plods around. I would rather have seen Fiona again who actually danced.

The marking still seems to be crazy. Giving super high marks leaves them no where to go if a better performance comes along, which it did.

At least we still have a good clutch of dancers (I'm still rooting for susanna). As soon as we get rid of Mark and Ben the real competition can begin.

The female dancers for me are by far the stronger this year, although out of the men I like Ashley.

On ITT Monday, there was a nice chat with Mark and Iveta and a really good new piece called Strictly Basics (I think that's what it was called).

Pasha showed the basic cha cha cha moves, which was rather pleasant 

Hopefully it will be a regular Monday feature showcasing all the dances.

It's not available on iplayer yet or on YT but keep your eyes peeled 

I thought James did a really good job backstage at Blackpool.  I like the way he interviewed the others.
