Strictly Come Dancing judge Craig Revel Horwood is expected back on the BBC1 show this week, despite having a hip operation just two days ago.
The choreographer, who has been on the Strictly panel since series one, is already back on his feet after undergoing a hip replacement operation on Sunday.
He gave the news of his swift recovery to fans via Twitter, saying: "Hip op done and have stood for the first time, now for the walking bit - feeling great though."
In an interview with presenter Susanna Reid, who is now a contestant on the show, Revel Horwood, 48, blamed âall those years of can-cans and dropping in the splitsâ for the problems with his joints. "The problem is, of course, it's like all sports injuries. Sportsmen and women need hip replacements. It was all those years of classical ballet and forcing turn-outs. It can be quite detrimental to your body," he said.
