It's Saturday 14:35 and this is the first chance I have had to catch up on last weeks show. So it's going to be a lot of SCD for me today
Susanna - Yeah good dance for me and a fair score.
Tony - Not much dancing. Ariola did 99% of the work. Fair scores.
Natalie - Good dance. Could easily be a finalist. Not a surprise with the marks.
Dave - Way to clompety clomp for me. Darcy & Len over marked for me.
Patrick - Not the most interesting choreography. Would have been 6's from me.
Deborah - Liked the narrative and she did dance. 24 kinda OK.
Rachel - Brilliant, fantastic, superb, marvellous, magnificent, incomparable. But no, the judges got it right. She might look good, but her dancing needs to improve. Don't think she was 4 points worse than Deborah.
Vanessa - Better than I expected.
Julien - Did not like that one bit. Craig's score was generous.
Fiona - Spotted the mistake. Did not think it was dreadful. Crack the nerves and Fiona could go further in the comp.
Mark - A bit of a non dance for me. Not really a Salsa. He might be a fun character, but it's a dance comp. I would give him 2-2-2-2. This scoring is a b it mad. He was no way better than some of the earlier lower scores. Smells of a sympathy vote to me.
Sophie - I don't like her but that was a good dance. Loads of content and good narrative. If that don't get 9's I will eat my fedora. I must be a mind reader.
Ben - Thought it was OK but leaves me a little cold.
Abbey - Would be better if her partner did all the talking. Why is her partner wearing a workers fluorescent jacket? That was a bit Meh!!! I think that was scored on potential rather than the dance tonight (last Saturday).
Ash - I liked that. But I like that particularly dance anyway. I'm hoping for a strong score here. And he gets 32. Good score.
So I've not seen the result yet, but I would not be unhappy for Tony, Mark or Dave to go, but I would like Julien off the show if I had the choice.
Results show
So, Tony is one I a OK with. Julien in the dance off. I'm good with that.
Tony can go back to the U.S. now, so that should make him happy.
Julien to go next week.
