Interesting article, Erin, thank you for posting.

Do I think Pamela is doing Strictly for a bit of self promotion? Hell, yes.  But I also think each and everyone of the celebrities are doing the same.  I absolutely adore watching Kara dance and I really hopes she wins.  I also know (or believe) that she is doing Strictly to enhance her career in the same way that Jill Halfpenny went on to do Chicago as well as Claire Sweeney.

Scott and Matt are looking toward future career prospects too.  Scott is probably thinking his character isn't going to last too much longer on Eastenders, and although Matt has success with the One Show and Countryfile, he did attend drama school and I suspect his love lies with something a bit more dramatic.

I always despise the scoring on SCD;  it's over hyped and bears no logic when held up to comparisons.  That said, this week I think the judges ramped it up excessively purely to get that Widdecombe horror out.

Craig had it right when he never gave her a higher mark than 3.
Bizarrely, Len threw her a 7 one week.  For instance, Ann's Tango merited the same mark as Matt's Quickstep according to Len...   and then he stuck to the middle ground along with Alesha and Bruno by averaging 6's and 5's.

Where can you go with that in regards to scoring?
What leeway does that leave for scoring the other dancers?
All those hard earned 8's and 9's mean little when a 7 is afforded to a non dancing so called participant.

PS.  I don't like Matt..!
