I know people have their favourites and all, I have no problem with that. Most of the time, it's very subjective as to why someone likes a paricular dancer and dance.
I like Matt, but I thought his Jive last night wasn't really a JIve. There were a lot of times when they were both just stood there moving their arms and there weren't nearly as many flicks and kicks that there were in Scott's Jive a few weeks before.
I voted for the first time last night and I voted for Pamela because her Vienesse Waltz moved me. I loved Scott's Jive and Kara's Argentine Tango a few weeks ago was the best I have ever seen, but the combination of the music, the musicality and the story moved me. I felt the same when Alesha danced the Vienesee Waltz.
I just don't see the reason to be so nasty and horrible about anyone to suggest that the reason they are still in the competition is because they are sleeping with the judges.

I still can't believe that Scott got less votes than Gavin. There's no way that Gavin has been as good as Scott overall since the series began.

I'm so pleased that Widde has gone - hopefully Gavin will be gone next week

LOL that some think that the BBC might stop putting novelty celebs in, they won't because they attract controversy and publicity for the show.. business wise from the producers perspective they can't miss out. The variety on SCD is what makes it special IMO..
Right time for Ann to leave, of course some good dancers went out before her but they were never going to win and their inevitable exits just happened earlier than expected and because they didn't have enough support

Ann and Anton both have had a SOH which a couple of the other couples for me lacked and obviously some of the other couples are really competitive and want to win (to boost their profile and job offers) but are way too serious for my liking.. it's not the World Dance Championships like lighten up a little.. but i'm delighted Gavin is still in and even if he goes this week he and Katya can be proud of themselves. Still it's Kara or Scott FTW now for me!
