A good dance from him.

Yes please.
Again Matt is good but don't like the music!
Len can be churlish.
I would give him 9s
I would give him 9s
I actually enjoyed that. Though the music didn't quite match, IMO.

He's been a bit grumpy tonight.
I agree, Matt and Aliona deserved nines.
Aliona has a great arse...i'd love just to rub my face between those sweet cheeks
Matt tho bores me a bit, he's like the X Factor Matt, over rated.

Indded he does - and he is stronger than he looks.
Nite in here until tomorrow
Thanks folks. Nice being with you
Utterly ridiculous, that dance by Matt was by far and away the most passionate and mesmerising dance of the night, yet the judge pick pick pick, even more amazing considering they glossed over, well totally ignored Scroat Marrianes two glaring footwork errors and all the gapping.
Loved Jimmi, Kara and Tina.
Thought Michelle's was awful along with Gavins.
Patsy, Pamela and Felicity were ok, nothing special.
The less said about the widde the better.......
I think Michelle should go this week.

I'm watching Merlin, See you all tomorrow.
I agree C&A about Matt's dance.
There were some lovely lower leg flicks and intertwining (can't remember what they call them) which I thought would have been commented upon.
More or less agree with your other comments too.

Missed the show because I was watching footie but I hear Scott and Kara got 10's awesome. I did catch the start while it was HT but saw Pamela on first so switched off.
Spoiler posted later on separate thread.

I hope I'm not the only one who thought that was crap.
Oops, wrong thread.
LOL Maths.
It was nice to see Matt Cutler back too, I think if BBC are still going ahead with that supposed dance troupe idea then they will switch it so I can see him and Ian back next year and two of the male pros who took part this year in the troupe if that makes sense..

Len's turn up comment to Brendan. Who does he think he is?
Just caught up. Wow Scott and Kara are setting the standard they're brilliant!.
Didn't like Len's comment to Brendan, he's grumpy as usual and it was out of order. I agreed with Brendan that they Jived first then did silly stuff after unlike some of the other couples Jiving s ohe had every right to be peed off IMO. Well done to him and the lovely Michelle because that routine was very entertaining and they didn't have much time to train.
Felicity bores me, I enjoyed Patsy's fun routine.. nice to see Pamela fairly marked for once .. Matt like Pamela leave me cold watching them dance. Tina had a good go, liked Jimi's character for the Paso, much better than last week and I totally got his and Flavia's performance.
Ann and Anton hilarious as usual for me, she's enjoying herself and I love that she is not taking it seriously. I'm glad she won't be forced to leave like John Sargeant was and will only go when she and Anton are voted out. While the show is about dancing it's also about entertainment, the winners only get a glitterball at the end not a dance contract.

It's not clear from these pictures but at this point in the dance, after Artem had lifted Kara and spun her round, there was a distincly 'dodgy' landing.
Yet they got a 10!

Oh and I really lliked Gavin's Pasodoble, the judges are very harsh on him.
Brisket yes it's a mistake from them but the judges are either ignoring it or leaving it aside judging the performance as a whole, i'm sure if that was Matt you would be delighted he got a 10. Anyway does anyone take much notice of what the judges say anymore?.

I agree with you darlo
Yes I will be delighted if Matt gets a 10. I do seriously think he is very good.
I also agree with you about the inconsistencies in the judging.
For example I have heard Len say "I saw this mistake and that mistake, but do you know what? I am going to ignore them!"
When you get remarks like that it is hardly surprising that viewers lose a bit of respect for their marks and opinions, as you said. It is as if they change their criteria from week to week, or according to the mood they are in.

Bias is creeping in slowly, he gave Ann a 7 last week for entertainment which I did agree with, however if he's in a grumpy mood which is all the time now with juggling DTWS too, where he has Craig's role then he reverts it back to it being about the dancing.
I think Jimi has been undermarked a bit last couple of weeks also and glad he at least got better marks this week.
