I've been thinking about Kara and Artem.
She didn't do Charleston swivels in her Charleston.
I find her alright, but no more than that. It is as if there is an obstacle between my enjoyment of her dancing. Something lacking. Hard to say what it is, but a sort of barrier which prevents me feeling included. A vital spark is lacking.
Artem is not a lightweight sylph-like figure. I think there is a slight tendency for him to look a bit cumbersome and bulky spoiling some of the lines. He seems to have the forceful but not the delicate.
Having said that we are lucky to have at least a handful of fascinating dancers this year.

Gutted Gavin not gone But not too unhappy Peter went! He wasn't good, bless him! Glad some people don't like Erin - I've never taken to her and have never forgotten that farce show dance she did with Colin Jackson!

Had visitors last night, so wasn't able to come on the forum.
I wasn't surprised that Peter and Michelle were in the bottom two, neither of them are very good.
Glad my favourite (Matt) is through again.
I was really looking forward to Neil Diamond's performance but the song seemed to be dragged out and he "talked" rather than sang - very disappointing.

I find him funny because he takes himself so seriously and has no idea that he is being funny.
Ashamed to say though     that I am laughing at him, not with him. 
More shame on my part is that I don't think he is very bright.
