This pleases me very much.
You will probably recall how Craig had an issue with Matt's hands (and thumb.) Well everybody's hands really - Craig hates flat spatula-type hands.
Unless specified otherwise by the dance he likes to see a typical ballet hand - the thumb down and not jutting up in the air, while the 4 fingers are not tense with the middle finger usually dipped slightly more than the rest.
Here are 4 pictures. 3 professional ballet dancers (including Carlos Acosta and Rudolf Nureyev) and Matt Baker.
Matt now has  good hands.

I'm happy!

The show dance is always something really special. It’s something that you just create specifically for your celebrity. You’re trying to showcase them. Kara been photographed a lot of times as the Flashdance girl, so I’m thinking of taking that idea and applying it to the show dance.  It think she looks iconic in that outfit and she looks just like that girl from Flashdance and I think people can relate to that, so I’m hoping for a remake of the film I guess, on stage,  if I’m clever enough with the choreography !  I think the song plays an extremely important role in the show dance because if people cannot relate to the song, it’s very hard for them to accept the dance itself. We have a really good song and really good combination of steps and if we do a good job, it’s the perfect mixture for the show dance.”

From an article in the Mirror:-

"But with less than 48 hours to go before the Strictly Come Dancing final, bookies’ favourite Matt fears a back injury to his partner Aliona Vilani could derail their chances.
This week during a filmed training session, Aliona fell and landed heavily on a microphone backpack – leaving her in agony. “I’m really hoping it is sorted out by Saturday,” Aliona grimaces, “but at the moment I don’t know. “I’m on seriously strong painkillers to try and drag myself through, but it’s not comfortable.”
As well as Aliona’s back injury, both she and Countryfile host Matt are relying on armloads of tissues to cope with colds, so they know winning won’t be easy."

I am really looking forward to the finale tomorrow night.  For the first time in ages, we have 3 brilliant dancers competing.  No Christopher Parkers, no Julian Clareys, no John Sargeants and no Ann Widdecomes!  We have three finalists with amazing dancing abilities!

It's an open field and may the best dancer, on the night, win!
