I was responding to darlo's remark about Alesha and saying some people take the show too seriously. I wasn't commenting about Joe.

Actually I think Joe has potential. Alesha was wrong when she said boxing and dancing were poles apart. Has she never seen Mohammed Ali in the ring?  

Martina should not have gone I agree. 

My preference is generally for the "slow bloomers" as Len called them.

In the quarter finals Len won't have the casting vote if there is a tie. The actual public voting results will be announced added to the judges scores then bottom 2 will dance off in the link I posted here the other day from the BBC site they've changed it to avioid any controversy like last years semi final disaster.

Oh...   not really worth having a vote then is it.  It might have been fairer if the public decided.

Matt Cutler is my fav male pro dancer shame he's out first round, although my other fav Brian Fortuna is still there. Kristina is my fav female pro but Joe should have been in the dance off.

Utterly ridiculous result there, Martina had the potential to go a long way, the dance off should have been between Joe who has as much rythmn as a stick and the personality to match, and Lynda who is just dreadful.

Out of the two in the dance off, that overblown ex pig Rav should definately have gone, he is so wooden I am suprised the termites didn't eat his legs whilst he was what could tenuously be described as dancing.

Bruno only saved him cos he fancied him, and Len well he is a joke yet again!!!!!

Boxing is totally alien to dancing, the footwork needed in dancing is far more faster than any boxer in history can manage.

Hi there Cigs, not seen you around here for ages lol. Should have been them two in the dance off but they did get enough votes and unfortunately Rav and Martina didn't. Joe has got to up his game now he has been given another chance unfairly some may think it will be.

Oh here I go again, every year I say I'm never watching again, especially after the Austin?erin voting thing last year. But here I am, white wine in hand and delighted that SCD is back on-
after tonights show I am seriously thinking of just not watching. I'm raging that Joe and Lynda are still in and Martina and Matt are out. What the Hell was Len thinking of.....(I can't say what I'd like to about him)

It's the public vote at the end of the day, we will get so angry if someone who we thought didn't deserve to be in the dance off is in it but someone has to be there and the other fans should have voted to save their couple more, thats what I kept saying on the BBC site around the time of the JS controversy.

I can sort of understand Lynda being saved as she made an improvment and can be entertaining, just as long as she doesn't outstay her welcome.

BUT Joe was terrible, slow, looked like a brick on legs in the dancefloor and there was no entertainment there at all, he shold have gone.

Well, we'll disagree on that score.   Not that I vote anyway ... 

In my view it should have been Joe and Lynda up and of the two I think Lynda should have gone. But I'm not about to get hot under the collar because it didn't go the way I think it should have.

I am rooting for Ali to win, she is beautiful, sexy, talented and well she seems such a nice genuine down to earth girl.

Joe Calzahgi voted in, he is awful, he reminds me of evander holyfield when he was on dancing with the stars, as flat footed as a really flat footed thing, and with as much musical interpretation as a tone deaf tree.

Kristina will really have to work hard flaunting herself over him even harder than she had to work with John Seargent, at least he had personality, something calzahgi most definately has not.

The one who has suprised me most so far is Chris Hollins can't stand the guy, but he can move

People were complaining about the Cherie/Lisa dance off last series which is when the JS thing completely kicked off until then most people didn't mind him, according to figures that were released that week John topped the public vote with 1.7 million votes way in front of everyone else, Cherie had the least amount of votes that week, but his fans stuck by him till the end.

I hope Ali does well, I loved her in her Hollyoaks days and in the Bill now she's so pretty and is so promising, a lovely girl. She was great in the Hollyoaks babes calendars though. I'm rooting for Ricky Whittle, Ali is my second fav I like Chris and hope Laila Rouass goes far with Anton but neutral on everyone else.

It's just a popularity contest as usual.
It's not really related to the dancing, but Len looks at things we wouldn't look at, that's why we wouldn't agree with his judgement.

I can see some of the awful dancers are going to be here for a while yet.

Fairfax, Ricky Whittle is in this years Hollyoaks hunks calendar, the girls will love him he's a nice guy as a HO fan I knew he was going to be great in his first dance.

I must say she has a killer figure and seems really sweet and surprised she can do it. Hope she's not peaked too soon.

I was making supper when Jade was dancing and daughter had to come tell me to watch. She couldn't believe her thighs!  She should be in a Bond film.
