I don't mind, Fairfax.  I'm doing well.  Was a bit not so good yesterday, but I think part of that was being in an off mood.  I usually just talk about my health on my blog (not a plug, just my way of not boring the entire forum with the ins and outs of it all).

Awww, thank you, Fairfax and Darlo.  That really means a lot to me, it really does.  I get rather bored with it, and frustrated, and angry, and intolerant, and, and, and. . . I try very hard not to let it all rule my life and try to control it, rather than the other way around.

I see people, everyday, that have it a lot worse than me, and that helps me from becoming too self indulgent and feeling sorry for myself.

I hope the couples do get to learn the other dance which they won't do, but I really hope it's not a 2 couple final due to Jade going... It so didn't work last time and it was rubbish.

On last night's It Takes Two.
Blimey doesn't Matt Dawson talk a lot? (Without saying a great deal.) Poor Gethin and Colin could hardly get a word in.

Oh dear. Now Ali has had a heavy fall and her foot is hurt. Had MRI test done. Ligaments and dones are OK, but it is badly bruised (which can be painful, as most of us know.)
So it is looking a little uncertain. Brian and Ali have not rehearsed yet this week.
The Charleston (which is their dance this week) will certainly put strain on it.
I hope she will be ok. Ali and Brian are my favourites.

James Jordan let slip that the couples will be doing two dances this week.  It's getting near the semi-finals, so I'm not surprised.

Is it the same foot that Ali injured before?  It would be a shame if she had to miss this week.

There's been a lot said about Bruce Forsyth retiring at the end of this series and TBH I do hope it is his last one as he just is not funny any more, it's sad watching him in a way, he was an all time great presenter back in the day, but he just takes over on the programme now and I turn it down when he is talking, as he is just so unfunny, which means I usually miss the judges comments, spoiling my enjoyment of the show

The usual people have been mentioned, but I have been thinking and why not give Shane Ritchie a go? He has done musical comedy on stage, and presented the missing lyrics show on Sky 1, the name of which I have totally forgotten, but it is 5am so allow me that please!!

He is funny, entertaining and I think would be good alongside Tess, allowing her more input into the show, he could be a really good replacement for Bruce when he does decide to step down, which I think could be at the end of this series, as I think he knows himself if he is honest, he just can't present the show in the same way any more.

I would be interested to see what others think about this, could Shane Ritchie do the job?

It looks as though Ali will be ok to dance, haven't trained a lot so it could be a risky situation if they can't pull it off.

As you say P.B. hope Brucie goes soon, if not straight away.

I've read elsewhere that he had Carley Stenson his now ex-girlfriend in the car and the paps were trying to take a picture of her apparently?. Apparently also the pap refused treatment at the scene but went to hospital after.

Hope this means he doesn't have to drop out, what a disaster of a series this has been but as they say innocent until proven guilty.. he's been arrested at the moment not charged.

Strictly Come Dancing: Ricky Whittle races back for rehearsal after being held by police for 'running over photographer'

Strictly Come Dancing contestant Ricky Whittle has been released on bail after allegedly running over a photographer in his car.

The Hollyoaks actor was questioned by police on suspicion of assault following the incident in Liverpool city centre in the early hours of today.

Whittle, 29, is a favourite to win the BBC's Strictly competition but the broadcaster has made no comment about whether he will appear on tomorrow's show.

The actor, 28, missed a scheduled dress rehearsal this afternoon while he was held in custody in Liverpool. 

He is thought to be racing back to London for 11th hour preparations.

With fellow favourite Ali Bastian recovering from a bruised foot, it has proved a tense day for Strictly bosses.

The Hollyoaks star handed himself into St Helen's police station at 5.30am this morning following an alleged incident several hours earlier.

The incident took place as Whittle left a bar at the Parr Street Studios in Liverpool city centre, where he and Hollyoaks castmembers - including ex girlfriend Carly Stenson - had attended two co-stars' leaving party.

Anton and Laila's looked fun, Ali looked erm under-rehearsed, but to be expected what with a dodgy foot, Ricky looked like he had been locked up all night  Chris and Ola looked the best.

I saw Ricky on the Paul O Grady show this afternoon, he said it had been a strange day. He'll still be on the show tomorrow
