I don't recall sticking my neb in when the Tories chose their leader.

Merely a suggestion from a (ahem) disinterested observer.Reference: squiggle
The BBC did a news special with Campbell and Lord Adonis and some other Labour politicians and Lib Dems and there was not one Conservative in the room.
I'm pretty sure Nick Robinson was around!
He was Blizzie and I know there is talk of him being a Conservative supporter (unlike many at the Beeb) but the general tone was definite excitement at a possible Lib Lab alliance. Although I think Nick Robinson did manage to make a cutting remark about certain unelected Labour people scheming.

Not at all, if there had been a token Conservative or two I would have been ecstatic Reference: squiggle

There you go! As Joe says, it would have been strange to have Conservatives discussing a potential Lib/Lab pact, at that stage.

the lib dems have always been a joke to the establishment. yogurt knitting hippies in sandals was an often used phrase for them .
I tend to belong to that type, but I'm not a LibDem. Cheeky Scunthorpe git!
Blimey! Where did that come from?
I posted that this morning! Assumed it had been changed.

Hi, Joe:
Your post above hit our moderation trigger--apparently the filter doesn't like the word "Scunthorpe".
I can see why it happened, but I'll be putting in a bug report...

I was wondering if someone was checking that Scunthorpe really was a word

How come Sazza's allowed to say that word?
Should we not use Scunthorpe in every post, until the bug is fixed?
Depends on how often you wanna see your posts.
OK

I assume you've worked out that, if you SAY the word, your post doesn't show up right away, but goes into the queue. When I get done filing my nails or whatever important thing I'm up to, I'll go release it from the queue.
It's OK, it has appeared already.
Good luck with those nails.

Mr Fluffy Thing still reckons there'll be a new election in a year to eighteen months.
I was rather hoping this year
As it is we will be doing some canvassing for May 27th though I don't give us much of a chance. I see Dave Milliband gave a carefully worded appeal for the Lib Dem vote. We won't get it.

I see Dave Milliband
I mentally 'switched off' when he came on.
You had better get used to him As far as I can see it's between him and his slightly more left wing brother............. so far
is May 27th when they decide the new labour leader then?
No! There is still Thirsk and Malton to sort out.

That's OK. I'll probably ignore him too. Reference:

But is the result there likely to make any difference to who they decide is to be next leader?
Is it cos Hilary Clinton got there first and you is jealous like?
