I know it's too hot for stew but that's what hubby said he fancied for dinner tonight so that's what I've made.

I love stew and dumplings but I agree a little hot for it today.

Lovely when it's colder weather but no way do I put the oven on in my big windowed south facing kitchen once the garden thermometer (in full sun) reads 25-30C! If I do, I end up looking like this ->

Indeed. The chicken Kiev was disapppointing. Serves us right for buying it out of the "chuckout" To busy to cook. Back to the master sauce tomorrow.
