Sympathy vote? Oh fgs some people make me so mad At no time at all has he played that card. He has done his best in the house, done his bit in tasks and has never once complained. I hope he gets to the final.
Agree, and anyone who would stoop so low as to say he is doing this for the sympathy vote should be thoroughly ashamed of themself.

Nor me Tayto.  It says alot about the people who do say those things, I feel.

he's going for an Xray.. .should be any  minute now on LF as they said BB told him he'd be leaving around twenty to seven and they are 15 mins behind. .

i have heard him say a number of times this past week that he was in pain and was hoping it wasn't what he thought it was [no elaboration given when he was asked] cos if it was and  BB knew they  would whip him straight out he said . .sounded serious tbh .. could be a potential amputee complication that often occurs..

He's been on muscle relaxants for the last few days too but seems they aren't working..

I also hear he doesn't spend quite as much time out of his wheelchair in real life but has tried to use his legs more in the house. .tho he stops for rests on the sofa or by the pool a lot..

but hey if some ignorant twats want to say it's just for a sympathy vote and implying, by saying that, that it isn't for real,  then shame on them I say..

LL I won't be a hypocrite and say I am a big fan of Steve but in all honesty there have been times when I have winced when I have seen him in obvious discomfort, especially at the darts challenge. I also got a lump in my throat when he had to be helped into the chair on the nasty noms day. He looked so vulnerable. There is no getting away from the fact that the guy does suffer physical pain and irrespective of what I think of him as a hm, I applaud him for his attempt to get on with a normal life. People now slagging him off regarding the sympathy card, need to shut their horrible gobs

Totally agree with you Fairfax.  I am not a massive Steve fan but I agree with what you have said

Not to mention those who slag the guy off for sitting around on the sofa and not doing very much.  It obviously hasn't occurred to those people that perhaps the guy might be in pain or some discomfort and actually needs to sit down - especially if he is used to using his wheelchair
It's terrible imo...TBH I'd love him to get the 100k,it would be put to a good use at least.

doubt a hundred grand would buy him proper legs he said he was given legs but preferred the ones he is using,Hi Tech legs would cost a lot of money, I dont think it was fair that shabby should have said what anyone should do with their winnings.
I think Shabby asked him and he said 30k, if i remember right x
