Steve's as dull as an afternoon in Stevenage. He has contributed nothing to the show at all, except inspire the best task they've had so far. But that wasn't his idea.

I'm glad it's not just me then. 

It would seem that the other hm's don't even realise he is there.  As you said jackson, what a bloddy waste.  Although I haven't watched his VT, he must have said SOMETHING interesting!

Isn`t there some Act that says all companies have to have one black one, one white one, one yellow one, one disabled one, one gay one, one old one etc.

I agree Fairfax....Being a lot older you'd usually expect he's either try to nip it in the bud never mind not get involved in it.

I expected more of Steve, I expected him to be more a peace broker but sadly he's been a huge disappointment. He boring, snidey and don't jump on me, but I think he thinks he can win it. 
He thinks his role is to be the father of the house, but if you listen to certain conversations, he can be as sneaky as the rest. I picked up on that a couple of weeks ago, he said something to Ben and then went into the garden and then took a different view with another group.Watching him since then, he's continued to behave in the same way, trying not to upset anyone and still getting the sly dig in. His mask slipped the other night when he lost his cool, fair enough he had every right, but then to go around apologising to the whole house...fake.

I have to say that I agree Dame Ann  But I am certain he will be there in the last 3, cos I am not sure enough HM's will ever have the nerve to put him up for eviction...

I like Steve but he is not a good HM feel sorry for him as a lot of the time he is sat by himself..

I like Steve and have a great deal of admiration and respect for him.  As for being a good HM, I haven't really seen him say or do very much but that could be down to the editing.  He does get stuck into the tasks though and the other HM's respect him.

We certainly do..... but sorry... no rise.... we have a pay freeze on you know, cos of the level of my debt  government debt

Hi Fairfax. We are in agreement once again.

You're thinking of equality at work legislation, which says employers should aim to be open to all. They don't HAVE to have a strict quota of each, and neither does Big Brother.

Nor me Fairfax.

Apart from being one of the dullest housemates I can remember (reason enough to nominate him), he is also the type who would store it up then stab you in the back at a vital moment.
(In my opinion of course.)

I like Steve.  No we haven't seen much of him, but he seems like a really nice guy.  I think he's got a fantastic outlook on things and adds a nice bit of perspective to the whole thing.


I've nothing against the bloke and think he's as entitled as anyone else to be there.

Dave, Steve, Ife, Nathan Shabby and Caoimhe 

all are characters that BB failed epically on choosing.  The first 4 contributed very little to the house and the last 2 have turned it into a bitchfest with one walking out. BB did bad.

Steve was chosen because of his injuries, there is no other reason, sounds harsh but its true.

Seriously, do you not understand that some people don't want the nomination results spoiled. You did this last week as well, its in poor form.

It depends what you're looking for in a housemate.  They've done the wacky-out-there contestants before and they're just awful to watch, imo.



As it stands now, I don't think BB chose badly, I think they've got a really good bunch in there and I'm really enjoying it.


As for Steve, I think he may have been chosen for his injuries, but not in a negative way.  I think it might be to illustrate to those coming home from Iraq and Afghanistan now that your life isn't over because of your injuries.
