The were entertaining yes, they are a novelty act but nothing more.

There is a gulf of difference in the dancing capabilities of them and that of Diversity, Flawless and Aidan. While I loved them and though they were good, I think it would have been outrageous had they won, not saying they didn't put in any less effort than the rest but their routine was littered with bad timing, and flawed moves. They were the 4th best dance act in the competition, stop saying 'they were robbed', they weren't.

I don't think they are under any delusion that they were better than Diversity and Flawless. I think they know their capabilities and were out to entertain us - an added bonus would have been if they had won.

I wish people (including the Media) entering and watching programmes like 'Britains Got Talent' would stop thinking that the winner is going to be a 'BIG STAR'.......

As for entertainment value, Stavros entertained me and made me laugh out loud....

Diversity were great..and they won..

I think it is time that TV today was more light hearted and went back to being 'Entertainment'.

I am one of the people who wanted Stavros Flatley to win, and them not even making the top three did dismay me, but I don't begrudge any of the three finalists their place and was ultimately pleased with Diversity winning.

It's about how an act makes you feel, that is the bit that makes or breaks whether we give someone our backing, or attack them at will.

I saw something very special in these two, it wasn't just their ability to make me laugh that endeared them to me, it was the way their relationship shone through like a glorious beacon. Most people profess to love their kin, but they really made me FEEL it.

Their performances were not world class dance performances, but they were never meant to be. They were hilarious, a lot of fun and decent family entertainment. That is why they got my vote, they made me feel wonderful, they reminded me of the special bond between Father and Child, and sometimes, in the thick of crap times, that kind of feeling is priceless. So Thank You Stavros Flatley for warming my heart and making me laugh. Perfect. Clapping

Thumbs Up Well said! I agree completely. I wanted them to win because of the way they made my heart swell with joy. Diversity are completely deserved of their victory, but for me Stavros were my winners. Big Grin

I absolutely agree. I voted for them and Diversity for completely different reasons and I would have been happy for either to win. Stavros Flateley is not a dance act, it's a comedy variety act just like the excellent Signature were last year. Yes, it's a novelty act but so what? That doesn't make it any less entertaining and I think they would have been perfect for the Royal Variety show. They made me and my hubby laugh out loud on all three shows and I love the way they made me feel. Clapping

i would have been happy to see either Stavros or Diversity win. Stavros made me laugh ...it was a real feel good factor. all this talk about longevity etc. is irrelevant - the whole point of the show is about appearing in front of the Queen at the Royal variety Performance. i'm fairly ceryain Philip the Greek would have loved them and although it doesn't happen often .......i'm fairly sure it would have bought a smile to her Maj's face.

Me too! I voted for them both as well, for fairly different reasons but was happy to see either win. Smiler And the Maj's face would've been a picture if Stavros did win!

I completely agree. I think it was clear that they had a lovely, loving relationship, but I found nothing remotely entertaining or vaguely funny about their routine.

I did point out on Saturday that I think your avatar is the spitting image of Hollie Glance
