Anyone buy stationary and know where there are some cheap places to go?
I need quite a few clear plastic A4 pockets. A cursory search on the Interweb seems to throw up some quite expensive options.
I don't want any cheap c*** that will fall to bits within months, in the past I have used Esselette (sp) or similar, but at around ÂĢ17 for 100 that seems a lot.
If you have used other makes and can recommend them please tell me.

Aww, I can't advise I'm afraid. We bought in bulk at work and the one's I've got wouldn't be of any use 
I'm trying to think of where we got them from 
I think ours were from Q Connect, although I don't know what high street prices they charge

I have just looked at Rymans. They do a box of 200 for ÂĢ7.99 which seems good value but I don't know the quality of them.

Yeah, you need to know the thickness.....can you go somewhere and have a scout as to what you need then order off the net

Yes, they do 50 and 80 micron. I suspect 50 micron may be a bit too thin. I will have to pop into my local Ryman's and feel the quality so to speak.

EC, I purchase the stationery for work, but we get our 'core items' at discounted rates, so can't help with the rates offered to personal customers. It is Office Depot, who also trade as Viking. Their clear Pockets are quite reasonable. even the 'economy' ones.

I went into Ryman's today and had a fondle of both their economy and premium pockets. The economy pockets do feel quite thin and cheap. I may have to plump for the premium pockets. They are not too badly priced at ÂĢ4.99 for 50, that should be enough for now.

Thanks Sweet. I did go see a box in Ryman's that looked well priced and decent quality.
I have a homemade pencil box on my desk which has the words "Pens are Friends" on it.
