Always liked Lacey Turner, and I think this week's going to be very interesting.

(I'm not expecting a full explanation as to how Stacey managed to get back into the country without alerting the police, though...  )

BTW, a heads up for those who haven't already heard: because of Six Nations Rugby coverage on Friday, Thursday's Eastenders will be an hour-long double episode.

Do you not think the Carters have shaken things up a bit?

I haven't watched much for months, but the moment I saw Danny Dyer joining I had to bow out; at least Corrie is still inherently funny.

I'll be honest: I groaned when I heard Danny Dyer was joining EE. However, I have to admit that he's been pretty good so far. There has been a bit of a problem with the Carters dominating stories, but that always happens when a new family enters the Square, and it does seem to be settling down now...

Nothing to do with the programme... but my brother's step daughter got married last year and part of the wedding package at the hotel was the 'presidential suite' for the bride and groom.    On the big day, they were told 'Oh sorry - someone else had already booked it before you, the room's not free'   (the wedding was booked a year ahead)  Turns out Danny Dyer was doing a PA in town that day and staying at the hotel (coincidentally they also owned the club he was appearing at) ... anyone want to wager  who got bumped out their room for him?   I don't believe for a minute they accidentally double booked the best room in the place.

I would move heaven and earth to sue the pants off them. He's a jumped up tw*t and doesn't deserve to be treated preferentially.

Yeah, cologne - I'd have kicked up such a stink, but believe it or not they didn't offer any compensation or anything.  Worse still - the bride was supposed to have the room to get ready in and everything before the do - she had to do it all at home, and didn't find out until the day.........and the softies didn't even kick up about it.

I always liked Lacey Turner, a very pretty girl. Although I don't watch EE, I used to catch bits of it as I flicked around the channels and sometimes more it I was cooking, but I just don't like it anymore. I wish the BBC and ITV  would just scrap soaps as they have had their day(s) 10 fold.

Although I may now flick back on once in a while to see a Stacey storylineâ€Ķ or more than likely not thinking about it.

All soaps are in a rut. The only thing that will improve them is if Michael Bay is made director and has his Transformers wade through Walford and Weatherfield (Do you think they came up with that name as it rains a lot in Manchester?) destroying everything and everyone in it's sights.

For me eastenders is the best of the soaps at this moment. I only watch that and hollyoaks but even hollyoaks is shite nowadays - it's just kind of habit that I watch it!
Nothing much happens in corrie. I only ever watch it if Michelle Keegan is playing a prominent part in the episode (Friday night for example), but once she leaves I doubt I'll ever watch it.

I agree, the Carter's have been a good addition to easterners and Lacey Turner's arrival will give it a further boost. She's a class actress and I like Stacey as a character. They seem to be removing a lot of the dead wood such as Carl White, Michael moon, Alice, Joey, Sadie (fit as she is), Dexter's mum and dad etc.
