ok, there are no Sree fans, there never were any Sree fans, there was only ever a fan club in Strikes imagination, who I hasten to add jumped ship a long time ago. What I meant was that there is only us left mad enough to keep coming back into this thread. 'stands in doorway and stamps foot'

Me too, you forget his bad points when you haven't seen him for a bit ...not that he had many of course
Sree was one of the best
He was never put to the test
Shoved out unceremoniously by the rest
Some even hit him on the chest
Sree and Siavash were a team
Some would say they were the cream
The best of the bunch
And that's not a hunch
All the fightin on the forum today
Everyone wanting to have their say
If Sree were here, have no fear
They would all disappear
Sree stood up for right
He was staunch but didn't want to fight
We all thought he was a wonderful sight
He fought with all his might
Some dissers thought he wasshite right
But I thought he was tight*
Dedicted to Sree, who should have been in the final week, yes Shireeeeeeee
(*tight (adjective) fixed or fastened or drawn together firmly and hard to move or undo*)

Yes, it's something I just composed off the top of my head. My muse has returned so I thought, why not do a poem to Sree.
Talking of poems, have you seen Strike lately?( )
hi to all in the Sree Supporters Club. Greetings.
lol, Hi Twee
Do you know, I haven't seen strike for a while - I wonder what's he's up to It's lovely to hear one of your poems again - what will they be about when BB has finished I wonder?

scatters, I'm hoping to get back to normal after BB and start reading some real poetry by real poets and watching some of the great stuff I've taped while its been on. BB kinda takes me over and I become preoccupied with it and then cannot concentrate on my other loves, ie reading books and watching great progs on the telly, etc.
I seen strike online a few nights ago but not in this thread. So, hopefully, he is ok and will pay us a visit in here later on. His ban on poetry will be imposed immediately when he comes on, but it's too late hehe. Scatts, I think Strike secretly loves my poems but he wouldn't please me to admit it

Do you know - I think you could be right - he loves them I'm sure and has probably saved them all! I also know what you mean about BB - we have so many films/programmes stacked up, I don't know how we'll watch them all and I never read as much when it's on either

scatts, I can't concentrate on two things at once. I cannot even watch live feed and talk on the forum, or I miss the point on both. So BB has well and truly taken me over for the past 12 weeks. I say every year never again, but I always succumb. The good news for me is that I don't watch any other reality shows, so once BB is over, I will get my life back. It's quite sad that this is the last one and I really am going to miss it next year unless some other network takes it over. I think C4 are in dire financial difficulties and they have had to offload BB because of the constraints put on them by OFCOM and by the drop in revenue with advertisements, etc.
You have your own little pleasure to look forward to. I hope you are keeping well scatts and that you are not suffering so much from the heartburn any more. It does make you feel so uncomfortable. Are you very big now? Can you fit in a chair? Do you know the sex of your baby, or would you prefer it to be a surprise? Have you any names chosen, boys or girls names?
If it's a boy, Sree
If it's a girl, Sree

Menty, what a brilliant idea! Sreeanne would be nice for a girl too, as an alternative choice.

I think you're right about the financial aspect - I really will miss it and have watched every single series from the beginning - I agree I hope somebody takes it over and keeps it going somehow - summer wouldn't be the same!
I am getting rather large yes. I have nearly 6 weeks to go and can't imagine how my tum can get any bigger I find it difficult to get out of chairs and could now do with a crane to help
Thank you for yours (and Menty's) suggestions for names - I will think about Sree and Sreeanne very seriously Not sure about sex, but am convinced it's a girl!!

hiya scatts xx I'm glad you are ok. With six weeks to go you will be big, and feeling uncomfortable carrying your bump around with you. It's impossible to get comfortable in bed, isn't it?
Oh, I am rather surprised you like Menty's and my choice of names for Baby Scatts. Sreeanne has a lovely ring to it methinks. 'Sreeanne, come in fir yir tea now'. I would seriously consider this name for your new little girl Scatts ... and it would be a constant reminder of the HM you favoured and championed all the way thru the show. I could be Sreeanne's poetic aunty, and Menty could be the aunty permanently locked up by Strike's inhumanity to true Sree supporters. Strike could be Unkle Strike, the poetry-hater and general stayer-out-of-support-threads, created by himself. Unkle Strike must be disowned as Baby Scatt's Unkle immediately. Next thing we will hear is that Baby Scatts has been promoted to Number Three.

hiya scatts. I am overcome with emotion at the prospect of seeing Sree again. I may have to compose a poem for this very occasion, including peeps from this thread, the emotional journey of supporting Sree, the sadness and total devastation at him not being in the house in the final week. My muse has disappeared at the minute (but I hear knocking) and the minute it reappears, I will be composing poems like a woman possessed. Watch this space ....

Excellent Twee, I knew we could rely on you. Yes, I do realise how emotional it will be for you too - but surely this will inspire your greatest poem ever?...tortured souls and all that. Think of Sree and you will, I'm sure,
I wandered lonely as a cloud
into this very thread
I saw Scatts and Blue Diamond
and I was reminded
of Sree
Menty locked up, and Ducky
Made me think we were lucky
To have a thread for Sree
Where we could be happy and free
Not fighting over number three
Strike was always our leader and boss
But did we give a toss?
He demoted
He promoted
And we put two fingers up in protest
I saw a host of golden daffodils
When Sree entered the house
Everyone thought he'd be a mouse
or a louse
But Sree walks in beauty like the night
He is a most wonderful sight
Will there still be honey and tea at three
For darling Sree, and me?
My love is like a red red rose for Sree
But you always destroy the one you love
The brave man does it with a sword
The coward does it with a kiss
But kissing Sree would be bliss
And not to be missed
Even when you're pissed
Earth has not anything to show more fair
That's why we all stand and stare
When Sree walks by
We give a sigh
Everyone asks 'why'
We know why.
Scatts, this is my best effort tonight. I may return with my masterpiece before Friday. Seeing Sree will give me even more inspiration and who knows my final poem could be in the 'Collected Poems of the TwentyFirst Century'.

Twee, that is, as usual, excellent - not sure about that first verse though - what on earth would make you think of Sree when you saw Blue D and myself?
Apart from that - a fantastic one
