Perhaps he is looking in the mirror because he knows the camera will be on him during a fight and he wants to look good for the highlights

Lisa holds a grudge. She did not win that argument with Marcus and she is still stinging that he got one over on her. She is doing everything in her power now to isolate Marcus and repay him for making her look small. She is gathering as many troops as she can around her to ensure that they nominate Marcus this week. If he gets nominated, she will get her revenge.

Alvis/Elvis is just a small part of it but she has done a good job winding him up in time for nominations tomorrow.
