When you're president of the union, don't you get a year off as a sabbatical? Prehaps he's on that. He's president elect, isn't he? President for next year, I mean. Or have I got mixed up.
Hmmmmm im not sure about that... The president is just a student like everyone else.....

I've been hitting some of the UK university websites and it looks like it's a full time job, with the other sabbatical officers, which is paid. That makes sense to me because I think it is a full time job given the responsibilities and you wouldn't have time to study too. ~ÂĢ14K pa seems to be the going rate.
Oh I didnt know that ok I wondered then because Masters student should be doing their projects now and rounding up in September... So when does he get to complete his masters then?

I'm sure the sun story has some validity to it, early in last nights LF he was saying that he had been in the DR to talk about a serious personal issue, which he was not allowed to discuss, which upset him very much. And when he was sitting alone he was repeating it to himself again.
what was he repeating to himself?

He was saying that it was not fair BB that he had all these worries and Noireen should be more understanding about things, and that he was'nt allowed to talk about his worries, and that was not fair BB.

Seeing as how I've heard of terrorists falsely claiming to be students in the UK I'd rather the Authorities went after them
I dont like the man but why are we comparing him to a terrorist? Confused

No lol I wasn't comparing him to terrorists, just the opposite. It's known that there are people from certain countries coming into the UK under the guise of studying here but that's not their intention, they're coming for subversive reasons. I'd rather the authorities track down those people than go after the legitimate ones who do come to study.
Ah I see Smiler a little misunderstanding Hug

Perhaps I worded it wrong first time round, need to get my brain in gear sometimes lol Hug
It was early morning when I read your post so I blame the early morning blues Nod Hug

Mind you, in his case I think the fee was more important than the clown they had to educate. The things some of these Universities have to do to keep their heads above the water. Big Grin
Laugh I wonder what the University of Hertfordshire(Which IMO I have never heard of) feels about him.... Hot mess I tells ya Laugh

Uni of Hertfordshire exists Cocoa...unfortunately! Roll Eyes

My cousin has come over from Mauritius to do a law degree course for a year there. They chose that uni cos it is close to my parents house. My parents are not pleased! Shake Head

I assume certain universities thrive on foreign students for their money. My cousin's family is pretty well off.

There's a university in Reading where my cousin's brother went a couple of years ago to do an accounting degree of some sort. Don't ask which uni it was cos I didn't care and didn't ask.Big Grin

WHY... WHY would anyone in their right mind move from Mauritius to Hertfordshire Confused
