My mate's missus works at one of the local universities around here and her job is specifically to sell her university internationally. It's big business. My most local university pulls in huge numbers of foreign, mostly Chinese, students.

It's known that there are people from certain countries coming into the UK under the guise of studying here but that's not their intention, they're coming for subversive reasons. I'd rather the authorities track down those people than go after the legitimate ones who do come to study.
