Could you drive knowing you were being tracked by your insurance company and everything you do is monitored ... with your premium adjusted according to how well you are doing!!!

Its called LITTLE BOX

its for 17-25yr olds ... but should it be for everyone?

Drivers are assessed every 90 days based on four factors: braking and acceleration, cornering, speed and time of driving. If you're driving safely you get part of your initial premium back. But drive dangerously and your premium could go up. To help you know how you're doing, drivers get regular alerts. But if you drive really badly all the time the Co-op will cancel your policy.

I would be terrifed not knowing what i'm gonna be charged by the end of the year

Well I drive like a nun who used to be a health and safety officer in a past life, so I would like to have something like this fitted to my car, but only if (and it's a big if) I see a massive reduction in premium. For example if my yearly premium was ÂĢ400 I would want to see the following years to be around ÂĢ100-ÂĢ130. But I can't see that happening and I bet the savings are much more modest.

I would be interested to know what the actual savings would be.

Depends hows regularly, I guess

I think it takes location and time of day into account too.

Not that i'm implying that Sainty is a bad driver of course

I would agree with that in the main.

If we are talking hard earned money wasted (I bet someone starts a thread )

we should be talking smoking and regular drinking.
