How do you best like your spuds?Personally, I like well roasted ones, or a jacket with baked beans and cheese, or prawns!

Roasted are my favourite but I generally have jacket potatoes or if having a bog standard dinner they must be steamed not boiled
Chipped, roasted or baked.I don't care for mash much, though it's nice with some spring onion chopped through.New potatoes are nice when just boiled but not older tatties.
Oh Gypsie big fritters from a Glasgow Chippie...drools,a rare treat.

I like potatoes in all their forms... roasted, mash, jacket, chips (homemade, chippy, skinny fries, big fat ones), boiled new potatoes - especially Jersey Royals But my absolute fave is potato dauphinoise *drool*

nom nom Irish Boxty (potato cake)
Those look tasty, Pengy.
I have tried to make my own "Glesga" fritters...one large raw floury potato sliced about a half centimetre thick...then you have to try and make the batter etc..now that's the clue...I use plain flour .water and salt, dip the potato slices in the batter and deep fry!
Trial and error for this ,'till you get it right.

Mashed tatties or baked tatties - loads of butter.
Mash. Sometimes with cheese n onion included. Mrs Jer likes brat kartoffel which is some sort of scallop like fried potato preparation with a couple of fried eggs on top.
