Thanks everyone. Good and bad I think.  Got there mega early (bus) but was in and out before original appt time   Appt was 2pm, I got there at 1.25

They said they still had peeps to interview next week but also said they needed someone asap.  I do and I don't Kaffs.  Travelling isn't good. It's on an industrial estate and there's only one bus that goes anywhere near with a 20 minute walk but it's better than 60 quid a week obviously. If I'm offered, also have to do two days training in London. 

I'm hoping something else comes up before then or my numbers come up 

It's also three grand more than I was getting

I was intending 15/20 mins earlier Yogi, not bloody 35 mins   See, I hardly venture/haven't need to venture outside of my town and couldn't time the one and only bus that would get me there

I'm always early for everything. Even flew in the face of tradition and was on time for my wedding. 

Hmm... got to be worth a shot if you get offered it, but let's hope something that would suit you better comes along first!

  I've also applied for student records admin, in the college, next office to my niece. She says it's very busy....I'm used to that says I    also better travel

I've always wanted to do that - do you have lots of qualifications?

Nope, just lots of office/admin experience due to my age  

I've often thought of doing that as an alternative to care work

Lots of office based, if you like stuff like that  

Never tried it but I like the student atmosphere and admin is a lot of what I already do .. if on a simplistic level

See, I've dealt with all walks of life...out of employment, doing admin for them.....bit ironic really  

I've applied, whether I can do what they want me to...we'll see
