My papa was in the observer corp and my nana said dad knew the silhouettes of every plane before he was two. He has had a lifelong obsession with WW2 planes.

When my dad used to take my brother and I on nature walks, he was brilliant at knowing where to find nests. We were never allowed to touch, just look.
