we had LOADS of cops by our house couple of days ago

Investigation ongoing after a man reported his car was shot at in Great Barr. 

Emergency services were called to Foden Road in Great Barr, at around 9PM on Saturday night (08/11), after a man reported his car was shot at as he drove along the road. 

On arrival, Officers discovered a hole in the rear windscreen of the car and damage to the headrest. Thankfully, the man wasn’t hurt during the incident. 

The road was cordoned off until around 4PM on Sunday (09/11) to whilst Detectives investigated the report and conducted forensic examinations. 

A spokesperson from West Midlands Police, said: “Police are investigating after a man reported his car was shot at as he drove in Foden Road, Great Barr at around 9pm on Sat 8 November. The man wasn’t injured but found a hole in his rear windscreen and damage to a car headrest. Enquiries are on-going.”

i had this convo with chemist bloke

mind you lisa just put cream on my back

and then noticed my leftside of jaw is all swollen

i just looked in the mirror

it looks like ive invited a golfball to live in my jaw

its swollen up

and i havent got toothache

I don't rate that chemist tbh....

Get thee to the doc's  - sounds like some sort of infection

Shingles is not an all over thing! It follows a nerve path and it is painful. I know 'cos I had it when i was 16, then again when I was 30.Hubby had it about 5 years ago on his back. So i'm sorry your chemist guy is wrong!

Sezit's correct re shingles.  Ignore the chemist, he sounds useless.

she shingled me out from the other patients

and said its shingles all the way

she asked if i was shingle

i told her i had a GF

just pain killers & dont scratch

and wear loose clothes

so thats my ballet lessons out the window

It is an anti-depressant, Velvet, but is also prescribed for various types of nerve-pain, I believe 

im on seroxat anyway

Have you tried using good old fashioned calamine lotion for the itching, Pirate?  

Awww...Pirate i knew it was shingles when I saw the picture.Once the spots blister and burst there is nothing that can be done apart from pain killers. I bet you felt "Fluish" for a couple of weeks before the spots came out and wondered why you felt like that. Hope you feel better soon.
