OH has got an uncle (john) who is 65 but has got mind of 5/6 yr old & he lives at home with OH's parents
he spends a lot of time upstairs in his room & when he's been up there,for the last few weeks of an afternoon, he says he's can hear a woman shouting next door, words such as 'f*ck off,leave me alone,dont hurt me,b@astard' and moaning & crying
so he explained best he could to OH's parents but as theyve not heard anything & no-one is in next door until after 6pm, they thought it was odd but didnt take much notice
yesterday OH's
parents came back in the afternoon from shops, john was at door waiting saying 'again..woman'
so OH's dad got a glass, legged it upstairs put it to wall & could hear it as clear as anything,he said it scared him!
so they checked next door & no-one was in
theyve lived next door to neighbours for about 30yrs, theyre an indian couple in late 50's, really respectable, no swearing or loud tv, stuff like that, theyve got a son mid 20's who comes back from work on the evening so there is definatley nobody at home during the day
me & OH have said to go next door & explain what theyve heard, but theyre a bit reluctant to do that
and forgot to add, the voice is english, not with indian accent, which is how the neighbours speak
what do you think?
........I'd look for possible 'real' reasons first.
.....then maybe the sounds are transferring via the roof space from the house two doors down?
shouldn't there be a fire wall between joined houses?
