Day 16: Speidi stand their ground

The true identity of the Big Blogger task has been revealed to the unwitting Speidi, and, as expected, the narked off housemates haven't held back their opinions about the candid interview.
It wasn't long after Big Brother had wrapped up the announcement that Tricia and Rylan got stuck into the reality stars, with the Heartbeat actress stepping up to the plate first.
"You two can act, fair play," Tricia stated to a bemused looking Speidi, later adding, "We thought you liked us".
If there was any confusion left, Heidi summed up their feelings nicely with this killer line, "I think liking people and living with people is different." With Spencer adding, "If I could evict every one of you now, I would". Yup, that's definitely cleared that one up...
An emotional Rylan, who was seriously offended that they pair had branded him as fake (again), decided to tell the couple how disappointed he was in them, stating that he thought their issues had been put behind them.
"I have to be nice to your faces, we're in here for three weeks," Spencer reasoned, which wasn't exactly what the X Factor contestant wanted to hear.
"I think you're the fakest housemates to walk through the doors... I don't want anything to do with you," he retorted.
Ouch, big words – apart from the fact that they were delivered by a hysterical Rylan with tin foil nails. It's quite hard to take someone seriously when they're doing a dodgy Edward Scissorhands impression.
Suffice to say, the atmosphere in the House is pretty awkward, which will be great for their American-themed shindig later this evening. Considering the tensions between the housemates right now, we think that's one party we'd give a miss...

They 'won' a party

Day 17: Take that and party

There was a definite fun police presence in the House when Big Brother sent in an American themed party as a reward for the Big Blogger task.
Speidi, who have been whispering together since the big reveal, embraced the event, with Heidi chanting, "USA USA USA." She even raised a glass for a God bless America toast, but only chinked with Spencer. Awkward.
The rest of the housemates focused on the food with conversation centred on milkshakes, hamburgers, hot dogs and ribs. The sound of mastication echoed around the living area.
Notably, no one bothered to get dressed up although Speidi donned USA flag Stetsons. Meabwhile, Razor cut a fine figure in his dressing gown.
Ryan got stuck into the washing up, Rylan refused to turn his frown upside down and Razor headed out to the garden to spend some time with his snowman.
"I'm so tired," complained Claire, adding to the electric party atmosphere.
"I wish Gillian was here," moaned Rylan. Someone has to get the party started, though we're not sure Kathy Beale could've kicked this lot into action.
If the other housemates are hoping for an apology from Speidi, they're in for a long wait.
The night is still seriously young. Big Brother has provided all the elements to make a fun night. Will the housemates suck it up and introduce some LOLs, or will there be tears before bedtime? Stay tuned

Day 17: And the winner for best actor goes to...

After the saddest party we've ever witnessed in the Big Brother House, the housemates, full of chicken wings, potato wedges and beer, retired to the living room where an attempt at peacemaking was made. Kind of.
Speidi, high off the American festivities, tried to clear the air with the others in the only way that they could  - by insulting them further.
"Regardless of whether we get on, it's been great to get to know you and hear about your lives," Heidi opened with. So far, so good.
"Yeah it's been great sharing the House with such weirdos," Spencer chided in. Not so good.
The housemates, who looked unconvinced by Heidi's nostalgic speech, were even less impressed by the couple's attempts at self-deprecation.
Talking about the reason why they're in the House, Spencer reasoned that playing a villain is not something to be proud of. "It's not a talent, anyone can be an a*****e," he claimed.
"You're last name being Pratt. It's very appropriate," Tricia retorted, before adding "I love you really," through gritted teeth.
Their next move was to tell the housemates that they knew they were being watched during the Big Blogger task, explaining that they were just playing up to the cameras. When challenged that they must be good actors, they agreed, using their 'best reality TV star' Emmy nomination as proof.
"If we weren't here, it'd be all cuddling and kissing and there'd be no drama," the said. Well, that last bit is certainly true.
But did they really know they were being watched? Was it a plan all along? Who knows, we can never tell with those two.
Tricia summed it up nicely by ending the conversation with "My head is cabbaged". Ours too.

I think they will be first out on final night ,they will have played their part.

The Hills was on MTV today I watched the 'wedding' and I have another two episodes to see. They are indeed

I thought Claire was mortified that she had spoke badly about them the time she was nommed, lose lips again tonight caught bitching in the loo.

I can't wait to see their faces when they are told no more noms!!and that they are all up.

Now see .....................I didn't see the loo conversation as bitching at all. Claire and Tricia were upset and surprised that Gillian went over Speidi. They were simply saying 'could they win' - Claire simply said that (in her opinion) no US HM would win BB - she doesn't believe that enough Brits will vote for them - it was simply her opinion (as it happens I agree with her).

there was nothing personal/nothing nasty ..........................is that bitching?

If it's not bitching why hide in the loo.

To have a private conversation and console each other that their friend had left maybe? Seriously ......................I don't see it as bitching.

Jeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeez - I'm always a bit out of kilter during BB but I'm seriously not getting the Speidi love.

All this - let's stick it to the producers - they want Rylan to win - let's show em blah, blah.

That's how Christopher frickin Baloney got so far in X Factor.

I like who I like - I don't do second guessing and admiration for sneaky, spiteful people.

I'm obviously missing something The gruesome twosome are odious beyond belief IMO. Don't get it.

Soozy Woo

why do they keep referring to them as The Americans?  If they were chinese and were constantly being called The Chinese would that not be seen in a bad light?

Plus....Heidi and Spencer are a couple so are more relaxed and free in what they say.  The others in the house are strangers to each other in a sense so wouldn't be as free with the insults.  You always say to your other half things that you may not say to anyone else.

Speidi never had a chance in that house...people were prepared to dislike them and are using every excuse under the sun to maintain that stance.  That's all regardless of the fact that they didn't start the back stabbing....Speidi's backstabbing started AFTER they heard what everyone had said about them.

They've had to endure comments about their relationship, their accents, their characters and their lifestyles, within days of meeting these people they had been judged and sidelined.  They were nominated by 10 people in the first round and it goes to show if you're foreign and not of a similar culture you're an easy target.  And before anyone shouts Shilpa Shetty....she would never have won if it wasn't for the scandal.
