the HMs are concerned about the state of sophies scalp, after another of her extensions was found (on Lisas foot

) Noirin had a look at her hair and declared that some of her own hair his breaking off with the extensions, noirin has suggested she take them all out and Lisa stated her scalp looked sore and painful.

why go into the house with those things, when you cant maintain them properly?

Oh my, that cant be nice

... She is not taking care of them and I dont like the way these salons fix the extensions, they glue it to stands of hair which is damaging and can cause the hair to fall out...The blond bleach could be contributing to the damage as well...

She needs to take the weave out, wash and deep condition the hair and cut out the dead ends...

Why do people bother with those awful things? Unless you've got your own 24-hour "glam squad" on hand to primp and maintain them, they're going to look scratty (GREAT word) very quickly.

I watch Extreme Makeover sometimes on the telly and I always think why have they given them hair extentions they look false and spoils their whole look .

No. I'm fair, but my hair is thick and luxuriant

Then again, I've never bleached it to within an inch of its life, or wrecked the roots by having extensions tugging at them.

I'm a dark brunette and I have crap fine hair...made worse by the fact I have blue/white skin...I have to have a massive fringe otherwise I have an odd parting thing that could potentially look like combover.

Yes she doesnt have the products to maintain it and I think one is not supposed to get the hair continuously wet because it tangles...

Exactly you need products to maintain the extensions. And when you wash it you cant just leave it wet as it tangles you need to blow dry it with a brush. She needs to take out her extensions as her hair will be ruined if she leaves them in

Gosh I feel bad for her now... I dont like how these salons fix the weave though they attach the extensions to the hair strand by strand and that's not healthy at all
