Sorry, I just don't see how people lose their self respect by having a drink. How does that work exactly?

I don't have any problem with anyone having a drink. I have a problem with young people or any age of person drinking to excess and falling about drunk. Maybe working in a hospital has something to do with it? Or fostering teenagers who were physically and mentally abused by drunken parents?

I think all young people do things like that. I'd be more worried if they didn't. It's normal.

Blimey! Oh no they don't all do that!

I dont know if Marcus "stole" some cereal or not, and ya know what? I DONT BLOODY CARE,
cause I like to think of myself as a reasonable bloke, and as a reasonable bloke, I dont expect ANYONE to be PERFECT, 100% of the time, Marcus has many faults as do we ALL,
BUT we aint here to pick the most saintly HM, or THE BEST LOOKING (well I aint anyway)
we have the people that channel 4 have put into the house to choose from, and I didnt rush to pick a fave (you wont ever see "supporting housemate number what ever" in MY sig before the show starts)
I take my time, it can be WEEKS before I pick a fave HM,
as it was this time, I started to like Marcus around the time he had the row with Lisa, cause he had noticed that she was a loud mouthed BULLY, and he told her this to her face,
he was defending OTHERS not himself, he couldve done what the rest of them had done n said nowt,
then there was the time BB tried to accuse him of being a racist, and he "quite rightly" put them in their place,....that set the tone for his "relationship" with BB,
and IN MY OPINION he is a head and shoulders above ANY of the others in the house,
so he swears? BFD, SWEARING IS PART OF THE CULTURE OF TODAY, I aint saying its right, but it just IS,
and at the start of EVERY show there is a warning that there may be "strong language"...now I dunno about you peeps but ME if something on tv pisses ME off, I dont watch it,
I can totaly understand that some people just dont like Marcus and for them he can do nothing right, fair enough, but to CONSTANTLY pick out the smallest little thing and then launch into an almost hysterical attack on the man for it, certainly aint going to get ME on your side, in fact quite the reverse,
and at this stage in the GAME, I doubt very much that ranting and raving and hurling abuse at him for the smallest little thing, is going to change anyones opinion of HIM, and only make the "ranter" seem a bit obsessive, and.....weird, Shake Head

Not quite, OHG, and one of the reasons I dislike him -

He said nothing to her face, until she started on him and he made it very clear to everyone in the room that he was not defending Freddie!

I found that very strange and can only assume that it was because he knew that Freddie was not popular.

So I presume he meant he would explain if he was found out.
Persuading Sophie to steal it rather than do it himself. It`s what we would expect from one so devious.

That's Charlie boy alright! for heaven sake why wasn't 3 cans enough? ConfusedHe who flipped when Rodders touched his duvet and who tried to humiliate freddie in front of the HMs for moving his flipping towel!Nasty fake twerp! Angry

I can confirm what Azure saw is correct, in so far as Marcus did indeed remove boxes of cereal from the cupboard and place them in his drawers under the bed. However this was wednesday night, when l believe BB usually removes all the food. For all we know, this may be a regular ritual to ensure that there is breakfast available thursday am.

so Marcus can steal from the kitchen cupboards and hide cereal in his drawers well you know he deserves all he bloody gets what goes around comes around, he gets his share of the luxury items through his nasty controling of the shopping list, he is the most loathesome HM ever to cross the BB threshold.

Even if what you say is true (but I doubt it) does that mean two wrongs make a right.? Wink

it is true it happened on LF 2/3 nights ago, this has nothing to do with 2 rights its to do with all the Marcus crap thats been flung around.... you know a law for him and him alone he is so selfish and controling its unbelievable.

You know something Azure? If I was Marcus I would have told them to stuff it and left them to carry on doing the shopping list! I would like to see ANY of them, get it right, working it all out, not missing anything off, all in the time allowed with that motley crew constantly blabbing on and on!

If it wasn't for him, they would be getting nowt!

That's so true BB. The other night he was trying to do the list with Rodrigo nip, nip, nipping in his ear so he told him in frustration to shut up - so there was another few minutes wasted while snivelling boy ranted on about not tell him to shut up. If Marcus had thrown the chalk down and walked out, they'd be starving.

Don't think they need excuses, they have nominated him most weeks.

I'm glad somebody pointed out that Marcus stashed the cereal before the store cupboard clean out so they could all have breakfast in the morning. He has always been consistently generous, unlike some and never grabbed more than his share, again unlike some. His actions usually benefit them all. Even getting them all up for eviction was beneficial. Us at home could have voted out Lisa at that point, we had the chance. Pity we blew it.
