she will disappear from our screens if she starts going without food, this really annoys me when a young girl whom obviously does not need to diet one iota, bangs on about doing so, FGS what message does that send to young impressionable girls watching, Sophie's insecurity about herself is a product of our society from mags and pressure and I just find it quite sad.

I agree, It is a shame when a young pretty girl who is very slender feels the need to diet, but I used to be the same, and it doesn't help when society promotes 'skinny' as perfect.
So the plan is to starve herself until Friday, with the mindset that she will be going, thus be as skinny condition as possible for photoshoots?

This is what young girls do though. They think they need to diet and they don't. There is nothing of her, so why she feels the need to diet lord knows.
What gets me is that Lisa was adamant that Noirin shouldn't diet and caused a big ruckass about it, but when Sophie says it, all Lisa does is say fair enough, I'll have your food! Shocking!
She could do with losing a stone or so from her chest. Those boobs just look ridiculous imo.

I have had terrible trouble with my 15 year daughter with food, she is lovely and curvascious but because of this stupid image that these stick insects are acceptable, she very nearly went down the anorexic route. I do hope that she is given a stern talking to.

They never intervened when Angel was living off a raw egg and a 24-hour exercise regime. so I doubt they'll worry because Sophie isn't getting enough calories to fuel sitting around on the smokers' bench.

Seems a bit rich from a woman who seems to begrudge people the right to choose their own friends even. I suspect Jenny is right...self-interest drove the silence re. Sophie.

How do we know exactly what goes on between the producers and the housemates within the DR?
I found it quite revealing during the Davina interview with Kris on Friday night when he disclosed that BB do sometimes refer to Dogface as Sophie - Davina tried to make a joke of this.

Noirin was planning on hunger strike, bit different some skipping a meal...
I didn't think glamour models had to worry about being as skinny as fashion models, for instance. She did make a comment early on in the series about looking pregnant, which i believe even other housemates found ridiculous.

When Noirin was planning to go on hunger strike everyone including Lisa kicked off, even though she didn't go through with it. Now we have Dogface not eating because 'she's on a diet' and Lisa doesn't say a word! Isn't this a very bad example to young girls as well? She is really selective in her protests. I suppose she is happy because she grabbed Sophie share of food! Greedy pig 
Taking the food was bad enough, but to throw the plate across the table unfinished, was just despicable and showed what a huffyarse she is!
I think, as do a few others here that Sophie, doesn't really want to go on a Diet, but as bossy Lisa wants the food but has spent her money on Ciggie then she wants food from the others, and as she's already ate Kris's food I think she wants Sophie's as well.
So by telling Sophie she wants to diet then Lisa could eat hers.

Everyone is on a bloody diet. It's either a healthy balanced diet, or a shite diet or somewhere in between. People should just say I am eating less, or eating more healthily and trying to lose weight LOL!.
