BB is very much about timing – and they have just about worked this out to perfection. The worst bitching we have ever heard Sophie direct towards Freddie came out as a C4 press release last night. Tonight, just after it is announced that she will face the public vote for rule breaking, this bitching will be broadcast on the C4 HL show. Perfect – the housemate that the bookies just 24 hours ago reckoned was the safest in the house, is about to be halfway out the door! BB knew she was untouchable via regular nominations – everyone in the house adores her – but now they have the ammunition to end her BB stay.
Much of what she said was just repeating what Kris and others had said the previous day – we have seen her do this before; and it simply proves the sheep tag, handed out by Freddie, to be an accurate assessment.
What really annoys me is that I don’t think she even particularly dislikes Freddie! On the Monday night HL show – chatting in the kitchen about the task that had been set, she commented about wanting to win – because neither Freddie or Kris have had a party. For all the examples of Freddie being excluded, this seemed quite a sweet thing for her to have said. On the Sunday night HL show Freddie approached Sophie as she was walking from the house into the garden – it seemed he had regrets about comments he had made to Kris and her from the previous evening. I thought that the body language displayed by Sophie at this point was quite telling; not only does she stop to talk with Freddie – she sits down, and is happy to enter into discussion. Freddie eventually heads off to the kitchen, and we are left with a close-up of Sophie alone, and looking thoughtful.
Friday night has got Steph/Mario/Lisa/Luke written all over it; the young blonde gets voted out with a huge proportion of the vote.
