And on that theme. I'm trying to update my Archos AV500 (Google it and see how old it is) 

I remember Archos being a desirable, portable (for the time) music device.

It still works brilliantly. I just need to delete the messed up music on it and put it back on properly

Aww Velv's. I must admit, it is to me at times too but I can work this one fine. It's just another device for putting music and photo's and video on  

Most of mine are cd's I've bought and put on my computer, then they an be transferred to a portable device for listening outside 

And you're right, I wouldn't touch Apple either 

Have you dug it out and fired it up then? 

I've been using it on the Metro on the way to my course for this past week. Metro travelling gets quite boring you know 

I look at peeps taking out their phones and laffin at the amount of battery they're using.....I on the other hand, save my phone battery and the Archos doesn't need to be charged as much  

Tell me about it, my commute is around 1 hour and 40 mins to go precisely 5 miles! Yes 5 miles.

Down to the fact that the buses run infrequently. My iPad Touch is also my saviour. 

Yeah, I've got about an hour to get to where I need to be. Two Metro's  and then a ten/eleven minute walk to my destination. Only another two weeks to do though
