But even that doesn't compare to the Go Compare jingle. I know it's not a song but it is pretending to be music and it makes me  x 10

oh that's the one Veggie...it's not Perfect day...it's lovely day I really can't stand

I have to agree... he milked his millions Veggie.... I could put my foot through the car radio if he comes on  It sounded no better when they recorded it for Comic Relief or whatever.. it was still a pile of repetitive sh*te

Not a song but a film soundtrack. The 1985 film version of Ordeal by Innocence with Donald Sutherland was supposed to have music written by Pino Donaggio which would have been fine. But the producers decided to scrap the music and replace it with music from Dave Brubeck's album Time Out. The music is completely inappropriate for an Agatha Christie film and made a rather poor film unwatchable without the sound turned down.

Definitely my candidate for worst film music of all time.

aww, i have a little soft spot for that one. Only because my Mum, who was known for NEVER EVER knowing lyrics to any songs (even her favourite ones), would sing:

*in her Devonshire accent*

"There are one million bicycles in Japan

that's a fact

cuz I counted 'em"

Oddly, I also am not fond of the above mentioned songs LOL.  But it is very hard to pinpoint any particular SONG that pisses me off greatly.  I could name a few adverts or celebrities that do though!

HOWEVER, I can name ARTISTS whose music/songs piss me off!

The WANTED: over-rated and not pretty! (shallow sorry ...)

1 DIRECTION  (or wand erection as they are known by some...)  Not bad looking but only one half decent song, and yet they have SQUILLIONS of fans all over the world, and tweens and adolescents go MENTAL if you slate them on twitter.  Most over-rated band of the past couple of years imo.

ANY songs from HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL; Vanessa Hudgens voice makes my ears bleed!

Anything by TAKE THAT.  I really have not liked ANYthing by them for the last 3 years and think they're so over-rated

Kings of LEON.  The first 2 hits (sex on fire and use somebody) are the only songs I like.  The song '4 kicks' was AWFUL!

Also loathe JAMES BLUNT and KATIE MELUA, (ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ )  and I am getting bored of ADELE too.  Same old same old

Also, I never liked BJORK: crap music, and over-rated voice.  And also MARIAH SCARY: I used to like her in the 1990s, but now she is shoite imo.

I am sure there are more!!!

Hmmm, okay. Next time it comes on the radio I won't turn into a ranty, shouty thing out of respect for your mum.

But, only the once, you understand

oh god, great minds...is it something like 70 odd times he sings the same bloody thing over and again

It's hateful. when I hear the first note I run to switch off whatever it's playing on. i would gladly scrape my nails down a blackboard, for an hour, everyday if i never had to hear it again.

That's me and Mr Woos song - we used to play it on the cassette on the way home from our Sunday days out. He used to work really long hours when we first met and so our Sundays were special!

I hate that song too.

And Gyps, like you with Katy Perry everywhere I went for about a year flippin Ce Lo Green was on the radio   Even when I went to the states last year, I got in to my friends car at the airport and who came on Ce Lo flippin Green.  I explained about him radio stalking me to my mate and even she noticed it.  Every time we got in the car, there he was on the radio.  He even 'physically' turned up in the store she works at about a month after I visited, she sent me a lovely text picture of her with him.

I like it, especially the CiN version BUT in my defence it's because it was out in the charts when master cinds was still very ill in hospital as a baby, and I remember it was playing when the doctors basically told me that I was going to get to take my baby home at some point.  So it's quite poignant for me.
