So sorry to hear about your Mum hunni Hug

I went on holiday a few weeks ago with my fella, my friend and his friend Dave who'd recently lost his father, he was an alcoholic and Dave was properly disrespecting his Dad since he died saying he hated him and he was a waste of space etc.

We were driving up a pretty awesome mountain pass when we turned off the ipod (not like us at all) and switched the radio on - a song came on called " papa can you hear me?" by Ndubz i think - they lyrics went:

Papa if you can hear me
If only you, knew what you went and done
Please forgive me if you hear me
See all I know is, I’m proud to be your son
Oww papa if you can hear me

We stopped the car whilst Dave cried.. he cried for what seemed like hours, the first time since his Dad had passed - i didn't know his Dad but i hugged him and cried with him..

Sometimes songs can just 'get you' - he's made his peace with his Dad and we all think it was his Dad that kept us safe on that hairy journey...

Also, Janet Jacksons 'Together Again' and Loo Reids 'Perfect Day' both in the charts when my baby was seriously ill in hospital.

Oh, Rolf's always gets me too, Cinds! Crying

And a Hug for you.

Thanks Valentine

I'm just glad I'm not the only one that cries at that song.
