Oh charmer how awful, poor lad must have been so desperate. Prayers for his family and your son.

Hi Charmer, I'm very sorry to hear about your OH's son's friend taking his own life like this. It's very sad indeed, and tragically a story that is occuring over and over with young people.

It's devastating, incomprehensible and unthinkable. To lose a friend is tragic enough, but in such circumstances as this it's just so sad.

I wish your OH's son all the best as he goes through the grieving processes, and may the young man in question be at peace. Frowner

OMG how upsetting Frowner A lad at my daughter's school (aged 14) hanged himself in February and no-one knew why as he had seemed fine. It's terrible for it to happen, but even worse, when you don't know why, and because they're gone, you never find out. My heart goes out to his family. And your son will feel it too.

Be prepared for the fall-out over the next few days/weeks as what has happened actually hits him good and proper. I bet your lad hasn't had much experience of people dying around him,a nd when you're young (I am assumin ghe is under 25,) it knocks you for six when someone of your own age group dies. I'm so sorry Frowner My thoughts are with his family and everyone who knew him.

cheers,
youve said some nice stuff-we've packed them all off to the pub-their local-you couldnt move in our living room, i sat upstairs
me and OH were saying if only the lad could see how devestated his friends are (let alone his family) he'd be shocked
but thats not gonna bring him back is it
my step-son has aspergers, so we know its gonna affect him bad, we're just gonna 'monitor' him, we dont want him thinking thats the way to cope-that might sound dramatic but you just dont know do you?
anyway, thanks again for your kind words
charmer
