In my experience one should hunt out those friends who buy expensive suites and skip 'em every six months or so.

Get an antique Bergére suite, much better much classier. Get an "antique"  Parker Knoll recliner to slob out on too and a chaise longue! Pass the remote please.

I have always hated leather settees until my friend's husband decided that he didn't like theirs. I needed furniture at the time so they gave me this (less than a year old) settee.

It is the most comfortable thing ever!
So I am a total convert to the leather experience. 

Our's was less than a year too. We've had it about five and it looks like it might see us out!

I have one from DSF nothing wrong with it, its not a leather suite, Ia got a sofa bed and chair.
my son has a DFS leather corner suite, had it for 4 years, 1 9year and 3 year old twins jumping on it. still looks new

We have a mate that makes sofas so get mates rates and they're the most comfy sofas ever!

I have a leather suite it looks nice but I find it very uncomfortable I will never have leather again,I saw a lovely suite in M&S it is so comfortable but not cheap  if I decide to get it I would have to change my carpet and curtains I cant make up my mind what to do ..

Find leather couches a bit slippy slidey!

They do get a bit sticky in the hot weather it has to be said.

I got my leather sofa's from SCS i have had them 10 years and even with my dog jumping on them they still look new.

I think it pepends on the suite Marge, I have one thats so comfortable but I'm getting a new one thats like sitting in a marshmellow, my dad has 2 ones comfy the other is so uncomfortable and slidey and that one cos nearly £3,000 before we went into the euro....

Urgh what are those brown marks in that armchair toilet? How rank is that device?!! Especially when your fella tries to widdle when pissed and misses the bowl

I know stonks mine is to soft I sink into it I need something more firm as I suffer with my muscles, I have to put two pillows behind me and always wear a neck support the one I saw in M&S was so comfortable, I will probably buy it as for me comfort means so much

Yeah, there were some nice-looking sofas on both the DFS site and the John Lewis one as well.

Peter make sure the one you order will go through your door. I waited for mine to be made and when it got here they couldn't get it in the house. SCS were brilliant they told me to come in and order another without any trouble. I don't know how other stores deal with it.

Will do, longcat. Though I think the main worry is them having to carry it up to the 3rd floor.

Finally we chose one!
