thinking of getting some of these from Lakeland 

they're called sock savers £5 for a pack of 12 - wonder if they're any good 

I've got another version of them from the same place Pengy.  Most of mine have broken cos I put them in the washer like that, but I'm not saying those will

They're just posh pegs ... get yourself down the pound shop

they don't look very strong do they but hey maybe worth a try at £5 to see if they work 

but I lubs Lakeland - I have to hide my credit card when their new catalogue comes through   will have a look at the poundshop and see if they have any 

I put my socks in them and then put them in the washer. I dunno,  maybe you're not supposed to do that but to my mind it defeats the object

Well in that case it seems to weaken the plastic cos a lot of mine have spilt and are useless.

I noes I've bought so much stuff that I don't want or need but bought cos it looked good in the book 

For gawds sake women ... just buy your socks from Primark ... if you lose one simply throw the other away

But are quite expensive I think, and it's only worth while if you make a big order. Like work colleagues/neighbours
