God save us from the Helen Reece types.
She can shove her human rights...
She's off her flippin head
I was under the impression that re-offending was quite high among sex offenders. I'm not sure why anyone should pay attention to a 'reader in law at the London School of Economics'.
The comment "despite growing public concern over paedophilia, the numbers of child sex murders are very low" beggars belief. Well, that's all right then! As long as they don't actually kill the children!
f*cking joke
Is it April 1st ????
Got to be after reading that!

That has to be a joke. What planet does this person live on?
n her article, Miss Reece suggested that the review should also introduce an assumption that sex offenders including child abusers posed no threat once they had served their sentence.
Totally lost the plot!!

I just hope she holds no sway with her 'reading' ideas.

We may disagree about whether to wash the chicken, but we'd be unanimous in giving people like her short shrift!
This is an old story from 2010, and I think that I commented on it then. She is simply barking mad!
Words fail me ,seriously.
