Chips, as you call them, are French Fries as we call them. Thin strips of fried potato. If I remember correctly, that is.

Thus Fish and Chips would be fried fish filets with french fries, right? Yum!

So, it follows that a Frozen chip shop is a store that sells nothing but frozen french fries? Seriously?

Well, over here all I can get is canned mushy peas.  But they are acceptable.   I just had them last night, with fish and chips from Ivar's (a poor substitute, compared with what YOU have).
