Yes.....
Yeah, it's in the footy thread Ducks. I've had Sky Sports News on and a hospital statement said he's in a stable condition
I know - I hope he's okay

Oh, that's good. Thanks Sprouty.
I'm not a footy fan...so I never set foot inside the footy thread. I may have to pop in!
Even if he does recover....this may change the direction of his career I imagine? Which makes me feel even sadder for him. He'll have a lot to cope with.

There's not much in there about it. Just mainly what is here. It wasn't looking good earlier for him though
They seem to have revived him
Wow
Hope he gets well soon.
Tragic, hope he makes a full recovery
I've just looked at my home page and part of the news on there says he's critically ill
So sad, it;s not looking good
Seems he's had a heart attack
Hope and pray he pulls through
Hi BF. Yeah, I think we all want that
I know - all footie fans and everyone else will, its terrible. Doesn't matter who you support, we all feel the same on this one
ohh dear. Fingers crossed for him.
It's like what they were saying on the telly. Yeah, I think we can all have rivalry but when anything like this happens.....
The amount of football slanging matches that have gone on on my facebook page over the past few weeks have been awful but today my news feed is covered in well wishes for this player from people who support all different teams.
Hope he pulls through and leads a happy life from there.
I've not been able to think of anything else all night and hope when I wake up tomorrow he will have got through the night and be ok
Bloody awful.
Just hope it's something that can be fixed.
I didn't want to look at the news this morning but thankfully he made it through the night. Praying for him today

Sky News saying he's still in a critical condition

They're saying he's anaesthetised and will be for at least 24 hours in line with standard practice.
My friend lost her husband last year... sudden unexpected heart attack (aged 41)... But... they did this to him. Apparently they put him "on ice" to give his body time to recover whilst trying to minimise damage to the brain...
its when they bring them round & warm them up again that they assess the brain activity.
Unfortunately in my friends case, he was brain dead... Lets hope its different for this lad. This treatment must work in some cases... I really hope it does in this case.
God, its so scary. Just shows you when its your time, its your time. I hope its not this young guys time yet.

Yes they do this with babies too that are deprived of oxygen during birth - this happened to a friend's baby and thankfully when he was a few months old it showed he'd suffered no brain damage. Hoping it does the same for Fabrice too
such a shame - I hope he pulls through
Dreadful news,I do hope he survives.
Other sad news.. seems that Liam Kelly of Kilmarnock has just lost his father who collapsed after watching Killie beat Celtic in the League Cup final.
Oh blimey Slinks! what's happening?

ahh. the Scotsman's got it too now. What a bloody shame .
Open letter to the Sun from a Man City fan about their intrusive and offensive coverage of Muamba's collapse.
Long but well worth a read
