Robbie Williams paid tribute to his former Take That bandmates at his BBC Electric Proms show at London's Roundhouse venue last night (October 20).

Introducing 'No Regrets' as "a song about the band I used to be in", Williams described his reconciliation with the group during the gig – his first in three years.

"I've got a new best mate and his name's Gary Barlow," he said. He also changed the final lyric of the song to "I guess the love we have is officially alive", as opposed to "dead".

That boy is a complete joke!. after all the crap he gave Gary Barlow and the rest of the band in the past, now his career is hanging in the balance he's having to grovel and try to make us beliveve there are no har feelings, and now Take That are a massive success again, and much more talented that that tosser will ever be. At least Gary is a natural talent and a real song writer who doen't need anyone who help him create hits, Robbie is a toss pot, I've never liked him and never will.

You have it completely wrong Pooly.  Robbie went on to achieve enormous success on his own.  Himself and Guy Chambers were a fantastic combination.  He may have availed of some help with his songs, but there are plenty of musicians out there who have never written their own songs.  As long as you can entertain the masses, that's just as much a talent.

As for Garry Barlow, the whole creation of Take That came about because Gary couldn't make it on his own.  Yes he writes good tunes, but he hadn't got the persona to carry it off on his own.  Which is why Nigel Martin Smith suggested they make up a band and hence the advertisement for auditions went out and Take That was created.

When Take That broke up Gary again tried to make it on his own, but didn't succeed, so he went off again until the Take That Reunion came about.

Whether Take That are successful now or not has no bearing on Robbie's success and it never did in the past.  It's good they've buried the hatchet.  Robbie was clearly furious with Gary and Nigel after the band broke up so I'm glad it's all laid to rest now and he can move on.

As a former Take That fan, and eternal Robbie fan, I think it's fantastic to see them all together again

I can't bear Robbie Williams - the man is so smug it's unbelievable.

Although I have to say he has written some good songs

His new one however, is rotten.

Loved Take That, love Robbie on his own and love Take That without Robbie - would also love them to appear together aswell  Gary Barlow has said quite a few times that he never realised what Robbie was capable of when he was with Take That and it was only when he was solo that it all came out - he has, to be fair, been very nice about Robbie and I for one, hope they have all made up!
